New bike!

I finally gave in and purchased a bike today. She's an absolute beauty!

She's light so I can carry her up and down three levels of stairs and really is that color, all silver and gleaming. With the little clips on the pedals *squeeeeee*. And I got a water cage and a kickstand too *sighs*. Now I just need to save up again to get an airpump and even more accessories. This is turning out to be a rather expensive hobby/excercise.

A bit expensive though even with $200 off MSRP and a 10% off the total price... I'll be eating PB and Jelly sandwiches for lunch for a long time T____T.

Got tagged by justsonya, whom I love dearly so I will squeeze my brain dry for something interesting to post. Errr... and it's about two months late T____T.

1. I moved into my apartment in Jan and I still now have no chairs in the living room. I do have a coffee table and TV on a TV desk/stand/thingie. The walls of my apartment are this earthy brown adobe color which is rather dark and depressing from times to times. But it's only 3 miles away from my work place so I can literally roll out of bed at 7:15 in the morning, leaves the house around 7:30 or so and makes it in for work with 15 minutes to spare.

2. It is now officially summer in Texas with temperatures in the low 100F the past couple of days. Humidity today is around 40%, which meant I have taken to walking around my tiny apartment in my underwear. I have always wanted to do that, but only now do I have a legitimate reason to XDDDDD.

3. I currently work in environmental quality in Texas *coughoxymoroncough*... wait for it, and of course, my boss doesn't believe in global warming *headdesks*.

4. The same boss also invited me to go out to his ranch (it's only about 60 acres, that's small in Texas) and bike around. Following that invitation, he went on to reveal that he likes to water the plants and gets his mails in his underwear. *HEADDESKS FOREVER*

5. Hmmm... I recently bought Cheesecake Diva-flavored ice cream. It's supposed to be Limited Edition from American Idol. It's more like chocolate fudge than cheesecake >_<.

6. I am very happy about my move to Austin for this job. This city is much better suited for me: outdoor activities, an active and lively downtown, and a level of weirdness that's sometimes adorable.

7. What else... oh, THERE ARE WAY TOO MUCH HARRY POTTER FICS OUT RIGHT NOW. World Cup, hd_inspired, Beltane, and then Big Bang, and Ass fest... I NEED TO SLEEP... but I so appreciate my porny fics.

8. I have a Nalis Reborn Yamamoto/Gokudera calendar on my wall XD. It makes me mucho happy when I see it. The next best thing would be a Reborn/Lambo calendar by Kanegae Showko... her porn is HAWT.

9. Yaoicon is coming up in a bit over three months! I'm crazily excited about going this year.

10. Next month I'm going down to the coast to "usher" baby turtles back to the sea. I have no idea what that involves but it sounds cool.

I went biking today. Yay! Exercise! Down around Town Lake.

It was a gorgeous morning. Cool, breezy, and sunny enough that you don't feel cold. Although this little outdoor adventure has taught me that I am pathetically out of shape *whines*. Oh, well, plenty more opportunities in the future.

And then I had omelette for breakfast/lunch. It was yummy!

The past couple of months have been interesting and difficult. Not that things are getting better, if anything, I feel that I should be getting ready to sit in for a long drawn-out battle. One step forward that leads into nothing. It's not so much a sense of hopelessness but rather this sense of uselessness. I wonder sometimes if I demand too much of myself, which is probably true, but then why shouldn't I? I know myself well enough, know my limits and reaches well enough that I should be able to set realistic goals for myself, yes? But the problem being me is that I always want more more and more. There are things that matter little to me, like having the newest style of clothes or shoes or chasing after the newest gadgets etc. Those things are meaningless. But I attach much weight to success, not only in the monetary sense, but in excitement and potential. I demand much and am impatient. It's a fault. I know and tell myself to adjust, to wait, to put in the time.

I worked myself into a stage when most days I have a case of tension headache. It's not fun and I don't like taking pills. I have a feeling I'm not moving fast enough but at the same time that I'm rushing, that I'm not letting things take their course. My generation is rather an impatient one. We don't wait for things to settle and adjust to us, we rather leave what we don't like and go out to search for the next exciting thing. Is that bad? We're a privileged generation, one that grew up being fed lines by doting parents that yes we're all that and yes, you can achieve anything you put your mind to. It isn't that I'm not familiar with failure, I am. I do understand that life doesn't work out perfectly the way you want it to, and that's okay. But I do demand that in the normal, the unextraordinary things, I can achieve them just as planned.

It's a case of soul-searching and answering the question what do I want to do now. I genuinely feel a strong need for just time off. Off from everything. To realign and find priorities again. I understand that I'm not alone, that there are others out there experiencing the same thing, but it's rather a lonely thing to deal with regardless.

Sorry for the vagueness but that's how I've been feeling these past couple of months. Again, I'm horrible to expressing and sharing myself because I'm a loner in nature, and pretty introverted by most evaluations >_<. My problems are just that, mine. I hope to put that at least some thoughts so it doesn't feel like I'm confusing myself in my own head only. No worries, it's not a cry for help or depressing situation, just a rather confusing time that I hope will get better.

And because I need things to amuse myself >_< have some POT Live Action caps.

Hmmm... so it is a happy ending for them after all XD. In light of the possible explanation, Calypso is kind of a bitch for pulling that stunt and that conversation between she and Davy Jones makes a bit more sense now. Hey, it certainly didn't help with her diction and NO CAPTIONS AT ALL. I like my captions :P . So now we'll just leave Will and Liz happy in matrimony and runs off with Jack to the next adventure (hopefully one that has some sort of newly-returned-from-the-dead Norrington, hey Barbossa and Jack didn't stay dead so *shrugs*)

Do we really need another version of this?!! Mind you, the TVB version was cool, since I'm partial to Kong Wah, but the story itself is somewhat lacking. There isn't an urgency and sense of purpose to Royal Blood like in Condor trilogy *shrugs*. But I'm so tempted *fingers twitchy*. At the moment, I'm obsessed with Witch Amusement or more specisely, obsessed with Dennis Oh, who is ridiculously good looking and so cute in his attempts to act. A+ for effort XD.

Oh, how I hate the Asian drama addiction. I thought I kicked that habit long ago! Baby waaaah!

I'm back from the Pirates of the Caribbean 3 advance viewing. Turn away now for spoilers and general rant.

Well, this is a turning point for Sparrington because poor James! *wails helplessly*. It was stupid a pointless his death... no purpose at all. Although no one really stays dead in POTC-verse. And much hate for Bootstrap Turner... what can you expect from a man that ditches his family for the sea :P. Can't believe they pick Beckett to be the evil character over James... SO MUCH LOST POTENTIAL THERE.

Will got some actual character to his character. Elizabeth wavers between freakishly annoying and cool. Jack remains the same, just funnier. Barbosa was cool.

Could have done without the Calypso crap... or the Shipwreck Cove crap or the Pirate Lords crap. Pointless plot to clutter up the ending into something somewhat unsatisfactory.

Will and Elizabeth's supposedly happy ending... not really. It's stupid. Chow Yun Fat's character was blah... needed some originality to his character... but he did good with what they gave him.

Still an open ending for the verse... most of the main characters are still around and Jack is off to another great adventure, now if they can only bring James back and give him actual storyline (CAN WE TRY FOR SOME CONSISTENCY WITH HIS CHARACTER PLEASE?!!!) instead of telling the man to stand around and look gorgeous.

Ahh... chores and free time

My main computer, the one with Photoshop and all my yaoi and all my anime and everything under the sun inside it is down due to a failed power supply. The bad news is that it's down. The good news is that I now have more free time than I can use XDDDD. I finished scanning a couple more chapters for various titles, clean my room, and manage to organize my manga and yaoi books!!!! That's a mighty task indeed. I'm now tempted to scan the covers of all my yaoi purchases, just for the hell of it XD. And I sort of want to play FFXI, 'cause my brother says it's like 'gay porn' and that they didn't even bother with a het romance this time... LOL. Tempted, am very very tempted.

In other news, I have a canker sore on the underside of my tongue that just happened to rub against my teeth everytime I swallow. Which means I lost about 4 lbs within three days, and I assure you, it'll be ice cream and pizza city the entire week once this thing is healed.
